Week 2 with MediZone diet lost 8lbs!

I cannot believe after 2 weeks I am down 8lbs and how GREAT I feel. I really want all of you to know what an incredible achievement this is for me.
I am no weight loss angel and I really did put the program to the test this week:

1 I had my brother and sister in law in town! What happens in San Diego when people come to visit......... Margaritas......... Mexican food......... Margaritas and yes you guessed it Mexican food.

2 Mama Mia theme party Friday. I had all the best intentions, until I was offered champagne! WHOOPS. I now know One 6.5-ounce flute has 6.5 carb grams and 163 calories. Stick to the Wine is has fewer calories.

I felt like I blew it in one weekend, But Monday morning I was back to it. I weighed in this week and even though I had indulged I lost another 1.8lbs.

I can honestly say that the MediZone program works. I never feel hungry, I have more energy than I have for years. Next week I am going to write about the supplements I am taking, The Zone Omega RX, The Zone Polyphenol Plus, Calcium Pyruvate, and a multi vitamin and mineral.

Louisa finding wellness - The Essential list - here are the 5 things I did this week on my journey. Listen people, if I can do this, you can do this!

1 If you blow it, don't beat yourself up. Get back on the program.

2 Drink wine and not champagne, One 6.5-ounce flute of champagne has 6.5 carb grams and 163 calories. One 6-ounce glass of white wine has 1.4 carb grams and 120 calories; 6 ounces of red has 3 carb grams and 128 calories. The boost of Polyphenols are worth the extra 8 calories. Remember Polyphenols are good for the noggin.

3 Move, stand, walk - don't sit. Sitting you burn 1.3 calories a minute, standing you burn 2 calories a minute. Enjoy doing the laundry you will burn 3.5 calories a minute. It all adds up.

4 Buy the best organic produce you can. If you have it in the fridge you will eat it. I joined a local Organic CSA, http://www.bewiseranch.com .
I pay a weekly $ amount and I receive a box of fresh organic produce weekly. It's a great way to support your local organic farmers and get the freshest organic fruit and veg. It's also fun to play a game ...... what on earth is that..... Yes I had vegetables this week that I have no idea what they are!

It tracks how many calories you burn, it's the best motivation to get up and move! Each day I log in and see how many calories I have consumed and how many I have burnt. Guess what? The more calories you use and the less calories you consume your bum gets smaller. Summer is on its way.
