It's the first vaccine for the sexually transmitted human papillomavirus, which causes genital warts and cervical cancer. But girls vaccinated with Gardasil since 2006 have experienced some serious side effects, including seizures and fainting, and 27 teens died after receiving the shot. An ongoing study is investigating whether these events were caused by the vaccine; health officials say the shot is safe.
Dr. Dody's comments-
This small article was found in Time magazine's December 1, 2008 issue. What I just don't understand about this is how are we not screaming from the rooftops about the deaths of 27 healthy teens from this vaccine?!?!? I will be interested on how they pass off this investigation on the events behind these deaths. Honestly, if you followed the story behind this vaccine and it's implementation you would see the money trail. We really need to take hard look at what we are doing to our healthy children, and what effect it has not only on them but our future as a whole.
