I am an owner of 2 massage practices. One of the biggest hurdles I have found is getting people to realize how important regular massage is. I am getting better at it, but it is still hard, for them to realize that yes, I do want business, but I genuinely care about them as well. Also, I am a male therapist. Luckily, I do have females working for me. It is also a tough gig for a guy. Once clients that have never seen a male therapist try it, they are all set. So far, all the clients I've seen that only went to women before, swear they will only see me from now on...I hope so.
