Brianna Brownfield, LAc, MTCM has a broad range
of experience in the healing arts including expertise in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and over six years experience in Orthopedic Bodywork. She has a lifelong passion for health/wellness education and is an outdoor sports enthusiast. Brianna enjoys helping the community achieve optimal health by practicing Integrative Oriental Medicine, focusing on the root cause of disease, and creating personalized holistic treatment plans for each individual.

Brianna completed her Masters degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. This four year rigorous program provides the highest level of professional education in TCM and Integrative Medicine in the United States and includes over 1000 hours of clinical experience. Brianna is trained in both Western and Eastern diagnostics and methodology for understanding and treating disease. In addition to this training, Brianna apprenticed for 3 years with Dr. Maureen Rozenn, LAc, DAOM, FABORM studying Classical and Japanese style Acupuncture, Herbology, Women’s Health and Reproductive Medicine, Liver Detoxification, and Holistic Pain Treatment Protocols.

Brianna became a Certified Massage Therapist in 2005 from the Healing Arts Institute in Sacramento, CA. She has been thoroughly trained in several styles of massage including Chi Nei Tsang, Orthopedic Shiatsu, Swedish, Deep Tissue Sports, and Prenatal Massage.

Patients can expect highly personalized medical care designed to address your specific needs, and an invaluable resource of knowledge and health education. In addition to Acupuncture, treatments might also include heat therapy, herbal formulas, nutritional supplements, essential oil prescriptions, plus diet and lifestyle counseling. During the first visit each patient receives a personalized package explaining diagnosis, appropriate modalities for treatment, and steps for self care.
