Marcia Katz LCSW

Marcia Katz is a licensed clinical social worker serving the North Bay area of San Francisco. Marcia has 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults, children, adolescents and families. I am a Medicare provider, which allows me to serve seniors and those on permanent disability. My practice blends a combination of traditional western modalities and eastern philosophy to provide a deep insight-oriented therapeutic experience. As a psychotherapist working within a holistic framework, her focus is to help her clients become aware of their feelings, decrease suffering and experience their life in a more authentic manner. As a social worker she holds the core values that make up the profession in high regard. These are service, social justice, dignity and worth of a person, importance of human relationships, integrity and competency.

Marcia also provides group and individual supervision for MFT and MSW interns who need clinic hours supervised towards their licensure.
