I completed a six-year dental program at the Medical University of Nis, School of Dentistry in Yugoslavia in 1998 and earned a diploma for Doctor of Stomatology, equivalent for DMD. After I received my degree in Yugoslavia, I returned to Iran to complete an additional advanced dental program and received my certificate for Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tehran, College of Dentistry in 2000. In January, 2001 I moved to the United States and subsequently matriculated into the New York University College of Dentistry program. I graduated from NYU in 2005 and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
My passion for learning continued and motivated me to pursue further training at an advanced level. Shortly after graduation from NYU, I was accepted into the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery for Advanced Education in Prosthodontics, a full time three year residency program. Beside the specialty education in Prosthodontics, I successfully defended my Master’s Thesis and received a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with honors from the University of Maryland Graduate School in 2008.
In July of 2009, I completed a one year full time “Implant and Periodontal Prosthetics Fellowship” mastering in surgical aspects of implantology, including advanced diagnostic methods and treatment planning using CBCT, soft tissue and osseous surgeries (including crown lengthening, socket preservation, ridge augmentation, sinus floor elevation procedures) as well as surgical placements of Noble Biocare, Straumann, and 3i dental implants, at the department of Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School. I have also successfully completed three out of four parts of the American Board of Prosthodontics examinations, and I am planning on completing the fourth part within the next year or two to become a board certified prosthodontist.
Throughout my dental education I have always paid special attention to detail and I have consistently provided the highest level of comprehensive care for my patients. I have been married for ten years and currently live with my wife in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We are enjoying our son who was born in May 2011. I have also been working part time in DC since summer of 2009.
Hometown: Washington,, DC United States
Occupation: Dentist/ Prosthodontist
Interests: I would like to provide the highest level of dental care for those with "complex" & repeatedly failed dental work.
Dentistry is my passion, and attention to detail is my addiction. Like an artist who puts his soul into its work, I put my knowledge and skills into everything I do.
If you think you "deserve" a better, healthier, more esthetic oral health, Go to a Prosthodontist, and see the difference in "quality" of care.
