Jane is a graduate from The State University of New York with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is certified as a Holistic Health Counselor by Columbia University Teachers College and is board-certified by The American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Jane interned in Pune, India where she studied and practiced Ayurveda, meditation and chakra energy healing. In Tulum, Mexico she completed a course devoted to the study of Intimacy and Relationships. Jane has also completed a program of study on Iridology (analyzing the iris for indications of health in other parts of the body).
Jane is a contributing author to Integrative Nutrition; Feed Your Hunger for Health & Happiness, and has written for several magazines. In addition, Jane has spoken before civic and business groups including General Electric, Gilda’s Club, New York State Health Department and the Rotary Club.
Jane has over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry. She owned a private fitness company “Get Fit with Jane” in Greenwich, Connecticut. She worked closely with physical therapists gaining insight into pre-hab, rehab and posture alignment. Her personal fitness pursuits led her to become an avid runner, cyclist, spin instructor and strength trainer. Jane has studied and continues to teach a variety of movement styles such as various modalities of yoga, spinning, Pilates, active isolated technique and resist a ball.
