I am a naturopathic physician licensed in Arizona. It fulfills my life’s joy to help people restore their health naturally. I utilizes homeopathy and nutrition as gentle, safe, and effective therapies for the treatment of patients suffering from many acute and chronic illnesses.
I graduated with High Honors from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona. I then completed a one-year residency in general family practice medicine after graduation. Following my general family practice residency, I completed a second year specialty residency with a focus in homeopathy at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.
As a specialty resident in homeopathy, I have had the fortunate opportunity to study directly under Dr. Stephen Messer, one of the foremost internationally renowned experts in homeopathy. I have also studied with other internationally acclaimed homeopathic physicians, including Dr. Francisco Eizayaga, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Andre Saine in Montreal, Quebec, and Drs. Timothy Fior and Joel Shepperd in Chicago, Illinois. My work has been published nationally in Homeopathy Today and the American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine.
Additionally, during my general family practice residency I spent a significant amount of time gaining experience using clinical nutrition to treat various conditions, most notably metabolic syndrome (pre-diabetes) and diabetes. I spent over 320 hours in the clinical setting studying nutrition and diabetic care with the nationally known expert Mona Morstein, ND, Chair of the Nutrition Department at SCNM.
Prior to medical school I graduated Magna Cum Laude from William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Music. I have always been a huge fan of music and in college my music minor focused in music history and jazz trumpet performance. Given my love for both homeopathy and jazz, it is fitting that one of my favorite jazz trumpet players, Dizzy Gillespie, said this famous quote, “There have been two great revelations in my life; the first was bebop, the second was homeopathy”. After college, I was inspired to study holistic medicine and went back to school to undertake a pre-med program prior to applying to naturopathic medical school.
