Dr. Jonathan Smith graduated with his B.S. in Human Biology and obtained his D.C. from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in April, 2006. Dr. Smith’s post-graduate training at Palmer Chiropractic College included soft tissue injuries and sports medicine. He is a certified provider of Graston Technique. Dr. Smith has worked with numerous athletes of varying skill-levels from NFL players to top-level high school competitors, while practicing in North Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina. He was the official chiropractor for the 2007 RAW 100% National Bench Press and Powerlifting Championship, donated his services at the USA Judo Championship in 2008, and served as the fight doctor for Combat in the Cage in the fall of 2009. Dr. Smith is currently licensed to practice chiropractic in Virginia. His treatment philosophy is based on scientific literature and utilizes a variety of chiropractic treatments, soft tissue mobilization, physical rehabilitation, and physiotherapy modalities. Dr. Smith believes in empowering his patients through education and engaging them in their treatment plan to allow for the achievement of optimal health. He currently lives in Leesburg, Virginia where he enjoys strength training, cycling, spending time outdoors, and learning to sail.
