Paula Halfman, LMT

Paula Halfman graduated from the New School for Massage, Bodywork and Healing in Chicago. Paula believes that massage is an excellent tool to help people connect with the needs of their bodies. She blends techniques to suit both Western and Eastern philosophies. Paula specializes in Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, pre-natal, sports and hot stone massage. She has continued her training in both pre-natal and shiatsu massage and appreciated being able to produce tangible results in her clients. Paula has a keen interest in energy healing work and looks forward to pursuing that aspect of healing.

Alyssa Ray, LMT

A lover of massage and its ability to produce change in the body, Alyssa Ray desires each of her patients to walk away feeling renewed and rehabilitated. Trained at the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy, Alyssa is skilled in Swedish, trigger point, myofascial and clinical work. She specializes in deep tissue and sports massage. She is driven in this field by her passion for facilitating the healing process, enabling deep relaxation and helping athletes prepare for and recover from events. She has worked in both a clinical and spa setting and attends to the specific needs of her patients in a manner that is thorough and produces tangible results.

Beatrice Scescke, LMT

Beatrice Scescke has been professionally involved in Thai-style bodywork, massage, and yoga therapy for nearly a decade and is continually exploring their overlap. She's currently diving deeper into the manual treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction through avid studies of myofascial trigger point therapy at the MyoPain Center. Most of her practice is devoted to pain relief. Her style of clinical massage revolves around the classic work of Dr. Janet Travell and Dr. David Simons. Along with straight compression, she interfaces proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and slow fascial manipulation. She is always in search of perpetuating factors and is strong advocate for self-care, so the patient can further her work independently and get results faster. She is a firm believer that our own body is still our greatest tool and is proud to have helped hundreds of people reduce their pain and optimize physical functioning.
