I absolutely love cardiovascular medicine and the reasons I chose to become a Cardiologist are multiple. As a medical student I was fascinated with the anatomy and physiology of the heart. The heart is a crucial and complicated organ with many disease states. Being that I am motivated by challenges, cardiovascular medicine became a field to which I instantly gravitated
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women. Since people are living longer, disease states related to the heart are only going to become more prevalent. The ability to impact the health of a large portion of the aging population was another reason that drew me to becoming a cardiologist.
I have also completed an advanced fellowship in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. Together with my skills as a cardiologist, I believe I have the tools to help my patients live a long life with the best quality of life possible.
