Marshall Seiden
Marshall Seiden has been the Chief Executive Officer of Menorah Manor and the Menorah Manor Foundation since 1988. During his tenure, Menorah Manor has earned notice for its high quality residential health care, adult day health care, assisted living, end of life care, medical, rehabilitation and nursing programs, geriatric physician training, Alzheimer’s care, geriatric assessment and other programs. With his leadership, the Menorah Manor Foundation has become one of the Tampa Bay area’s most widely respected and successful charities.
During his forty year career, Mr. Seiden has held executive positions in several long term care and hospital settings, including the Jewish Home and Hospital and the Daughters of Jacob Geriatric Center in New York City, the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, the Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford, and the University Hospital and Medical School of the State University of New York in Stony Brook, New York. Mr. Seiden has served as vice chairman of the Florida Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, is a founder and former officer of its managed care subsidiary and has been honored with its Executive of the Year award; at F.A.H.S.A. he has held several committee memberships and chairs. He was also the recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the Golda Meir/Kent Jewish Center. He serves on the national board of the Association of Jewish Aging Services. Seiden’s community work includes board service at Tampa Jewish Center Towers, St. Anthony’s Health Care (hospital), homeowners and condominium associations and Congregation B’nai Israel of St. Petersburg. He has been published in professional journals and has lectured in health care management.
Mr. Seiden is a native of New York City. He studied sociology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Organizational Behavior at the University of Hartford Graduate School of Business and Public Administration. His experience includes all aspects of health care management, planning and development.
