Mint Leaf Thai Massage

Mint Leaf Thai Massage
Traditional Thai Massage
60 min: $55 / 90min: $70
This unique and complete system combines rhythmic massage, acupressure, gentle twisting, and deep stretching; releases tension and stress, increases vitality, and creates wholeness and harmony of the mind, body and spirit. No oil is applied.

East-West Combination Massage

60 min: $65 / 90min: $80
An east meets west technique that combines the best of Swedish and Thai massage modalities. Special oils and lotion are applied to reduce friction and allow smooth strokes and kneading of muscle tissue.

This method is used to improve circulation, relieve muscle pain and tension, increase flexibility and inducerelaxation. This is the most requested and one of the most enjoyable massages.
Hometown: Claremont, CA United States
Occupation: Massage Therapist
Interests: Thai massage is an ancient form of healing dating back over 2,500 years, with its roots in yoga, Ayurvedic medicine and meditation. It is known in Thailand as Nuad Paan Boran which literally means ancient healing touch. Along with proper diet, adequate exercise and spiritual guidance, Thai people have for centuries believed that regularly receiving Thai massage is one of the four essential elements of maintaining health and well-being.

More energizing and rigorous than most Western forms of massage; Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Almost like a choreographed dance, this therapy moves slowly and effortlessly, using an ingeniously created series of leveraged weight and counter balancing movements that fully support the therapist and the client. Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work.

Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure are also used during treatment.
