My practice is about respecting the philosophy of Traditional East Asian Medicine which views a patient’s body, mind, and spirit as unified, each influencing and balancing the other. Unlike conventional medicine that attempts to isolate and separate the disease from the person, Traditional East Asian Medicine emphasizes a holistic approach that treats the whole body.
I believe that acupuncture, along with herbal medicine, Zen shiatsu massage, qigong, and proper nutrition are the keys to wellness. Many of my patients have found these methods of healing to be excellent tools for achieving and maintaining optimum health and in preventing illness. Traditional East Asian Medicine is effective for physical, psychological and emotional conditions, and while I do not purport to be able to heal everything, I do know that I can help direct you toward your path to wellness.
