I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado and I grew up playing baseball, BMX racing and wrestling. I went to undergraduate school at CU to focus on pre-medicine. While I was there, I started my family. My wife, Kimberly, and I have three beautiful children. Our oldest, Cole, is 15 years old, our daughter, Marissa, is 14 years old and our youngest, Ryne, is five. Cole loves to play baseball, football and hockey. Marissa is an elite cheerleader and loves volleyball. Ryne tromps around all day with trucks and loves anything with a ball.
Soon after starting a family, it became more obvious to me that there was a crisis in health care. Far too many people relied on drugs to sedate problems. Instead of covering up symptoms with a degree in medicine, I looked into other health care professions specializing in correcting the cause of symptoms. I found chiropractic and soon realized that it even went beyond "spinal correction" to another realm. I learned the secret. Chiropractic promotes optimal health and vitality.
Four years later we were off to Portland, Oregon where I began to learn the art and science of Chiropractic. I received my degree in 1998 and graduated with honors. Then my family and I moved back to Colorado with a new vision for the future. I practiced in Littleton for two years before opening my dream practice at Vitality Chiropractic on March 27, 2000. I serve on the Douglas County Health Advisory Committee and also volunteer my time at Valor Christian High School and other high schools in the area as the team doctor. I am a member of the International Chiropractic Association, and the World Chiropractic Alliance all while being an active volunteer for the Chamber of Commerce of Highlands Ranch. I stay fit and athletic by working out in a Krav Maja dojo six to ten hours a week.
I constantly try to have balance with all aspects of my life while striving to be the best I can. Yes, I attribute most of my success to chiropractic by having my spine checked once every week.
