Shara Resende L.Ac.

Shara Resende, L.Ac. is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor degree in Biology and of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (NY) with a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is nationally certified with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and certified in clean needle technique with the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed for Acupuncture in the State of New York and Certified for Acupuncture in the State of New Jersey. Her time working with the Institute for Integrative Medicine, assisting in the research and care of patients, has given her experience working with a broad span of diseases and conditions. Her treatments focus on the integration of alternative medicine with standard care. Shara appreciates each person that allows her to take part in their healing and is thankful to have the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with those in need.
