Dr. Michael Dowey is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and is part of the Canadian Fellowship in Psychology and currently works at the Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam, BC. Michael Dowey is also registered with the college of physicians and surgeons in BC. Michael Dowey is a very experienced physician with a fellowship in Psychiatry and also in Nuclear Medicine. Michael Dowey has practiced psychiatry at numerous mental health facilities including Riverview Hospital, and was a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Simon Fraser Youth Day Treatment Program. He continues to be a frequent participant in Review Panel Hearings, in which he has considerable experience over a number of years as both a Case Presenter and Hospital Appointee. Michael Dowey is part of the Umoja Operation Compassion Fundraising Campaign, helping underprivileged individuals and helps them have a second chance of living a normal life in Canada.

Interests: Dr. Michael Dowey enjoys skiing. He is a Ski Patroller at Cypress Mountain in his hometown, Vancouver. Michael Dowey also likes cycling throughout the world. The places he has been cycling to so far, is France, Death Valley and North Vietnam. Michael Dowey enjoys scuba diving over everything else, diving in five different continents. On the weekends, Michael likes to go golfing with his brother Graham. He feels family time is the most important thing. Dr. Michael Dowey is interested in many things such as European Soccer. He finds Soccer to be the most interesting sport to watch. Dr. Michael Dowey is also interested into the arts. Art has always been something that has caught Michael Dowey's interest. He loves critiquing art pieces and tries to see what message the Artist was trying to portray. Michael Dowey always loved horses. So any chance he has, he goes to his sister's ranch in B.C and ride her horses. When Michael Dowey goes on vacation he enjoys going to this place called Bali. It has breath-taking scenery and has the best art work.
