Jeanie teaches yoga and pilates for various levels and in various styles. Teaching yoga for the last 13 years, and studying pilates for the last 5 years has made her an outstanding teacher. She has the ability to see the smallest nuances in someone’s form, and that makes a huge difference in their practice. She tends to teach from a very structural perspective, and feels the most sustainable yoga or pilates practice is moderate and skillful in movement. Therefore, even in her Vinyasa(flow classes) she tends to take the time to set you up in the pose, so that you feel like your whole body is fired up and being used, instead of using muscles that you predominantly already use or moving too quickly to be aware of what your body is doing. She teaches 8 week courses in Restorative Yoga, Core Yoga, and Yoga Therapy so that her students can integrate yoga in a mindful and consistent manner. She also teaches group drop in classes, private sessions, workshops, and look out for her upcoming retreats – they are quite the treat!
