Dr. Lee began his studies in Oriental medicine in 1990 at Kyunghee University. After graduating, he joined the molecular biology lab at the medical school to research the scientific mechanism of acupuncture. He received his doctoral degree in East-West Medicine. Dr. Lee researched the mechanisms of Inulin and Resveratol for anti- obesity and diabetes. He received a patent for his work.
Dr. Lee established the first Blue Hill Oriental Medical Clinic in Seoul, Korea in 2001, which has grown to six branches today. The primary focus of the clinic is posture and musculoskeletal disease and the effects of postural deviations on obesity. Dr. Lee has administered over 100,000 treatments in this area. As a result of this experience, he developed VST.
Dr. Lee translated the books; “Chiropractic Technique”, “Malalignment Syndrome”, and “Medical Acupuncture” from English to Korean. He has written several books on the effects of posture on height and the effects of posture on female pear-shaped figures. Currently, he is writing a manual on VST.
Dr. Lee bought VST to the United States. He developed the VST program at Samra Acupuncture Spinal Center and university. He is responsible for training interns and resident as well as other medical professionals in VST. His vision is to contribute to the university and medical community through VST.
