Jennifer Palko, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac.
Jennifer Palko is a NCCAOM licensed Acupuncturist. She graduated from The Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montclair, NJ and is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Jennifer is a member of the New Jersey Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NJAAOM) and the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).
Jennifer believes that balancing the body and working to heal the body from the inside out is crucial to a person's wellbeing. After receiving Acupuncture in her own life, Jennifer discovered the amazing impact of this powerful medicine and decided to pursue it as a career. She takes great care in treating each patient on an individual basis, taking as much time as is needed with each. She makes sure that each patient's needs and concerns are addressed. She not only looks at signs and symptoms of a person's conditions; she also considers diet and lifestyle patterns.
Jennifer has helped many patients find pain relief, increase their energy, and improve their clarity of thinking. She can also help with a variety of common conditions including neck pain, low back pain/sciatica, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, joint pain, stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia, common cold, allergies, menstrual, and digestive issues.
Previously, Jennifer worked at the Veterans Hospital in East Orange, NJ. There she provided help to America's brave war veterans suffering with chronic pain and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She feels very inspired to have provided them with relief through Acupuncture without the many side effects of medication.
Jennifer has experience in Acupuncture modalities including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese Acupuncture, Trigger Point therapy, and Five Element Acupuncture. She also has training in Tui Na, an ancient form of Chinese bodywork. Dating back 2,000 years, this therapeutic form of massage is used to treat musculoskeletal pain and muscle tension/spasms without unwanted side effects.
