Dr. Mathews attended Texas A&M University graduating in 1984 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He then attended the Medical School at The University of Texas at San Antonio and completed his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1992.
