Marmom5
I am 31yrs. old, single mother of five beautiful children(yes, all are mine). I Have three girls and two boys. Currently finishing up my second divorce. I have never thought about doing anything specific to stay healthy. Other than being a smoker, I have always been, in general, a pretty healthy person. I had though about kicking the habit several times before, but it wasnt until my 5yr old son, told me I needed to quit. He said that I liked the cigarettes more than I did him. Even though he was only saying that out of anger towards me, because he was in trouble, it made me look at everything differently. From a childs perspective, I could see where he would think that. A smoker who has children, regretibly holds a cigarette more often than thier child. Doesnt make him/her a bad parent. I am as guilty as anyone, but a childs point of view can really shine a new light on an old problem.
