Dr. Wali received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington and a B.S. in Chemistry from UCSD. In addition, Dr. Wali has pursued additional training in Craniosacral Therapy, specialty clinical training in Homeopathy, and clinical training in Complementary and Alternative Medicine for AIDS/HIV.
Dr. Wali is passionate about providing the best care for patients in her Southern California practice as well as bringing natural medicine to the global arena. Following this passion, Dr Wali has participated in various global healthcare relief efforts:
• In 2005, Dr. Wali participated in the Pakistan’s Earthquake relief efforts as Medical Volunteer member for International Relief® Organization.
• In 2006, Dr. Wali participated in an interventional pilot study with the Tibetan refugee population in Dharamsala, India. The study examined the effectiveness of Craniosacral Therapy (CST) for treating Chronic Post Traumatic Stress Symptoms.
• In 2008, she worked with the NDI (Naturopathic Doctors International) physicians in providing free naturopathic medical care to underserved communities on the Island of Ometepe, Nicaragua.
Dr. Wali’s background and clinical training has given her a unique perspective in providing integrative primary care that blends the best of conventional medicine with evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine in order to achieve optimal health and wellness for her patients.
