Faisal Wahid, M.D. F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I. has been practicing interventional cardiology for eight (8) years. Prior to practicing interventional cardiology, he practiced internal medicine and holds board certification in both fields. His research has been published and his participation in clinical trials and abstracts has played a vital part in improving cardiac care worldwide.

Dr. Wahid holds fellowships with The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions as well as The American College of Cardiology. Involvement with these highly acclaimed organizations certifies that Dr. Wahid has an excellent reputation, impeccable physician ethic, commendable skills and has earned the trust, confidence and respect of his fellow physicians and numerous hospitals. He is also the Chief of Cardiology at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, Texas

Dr. Wahid maintains privileges at Baylor Regional Medical Center of Plano, Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, Centennial Medical Center, Frisco, Medical City Dallas and the Medical Center of McKinney. Although Dr. Wahid has a lot of miles to cover between hospitals, he is adamant about maintaining set clinic hours for his patients. He can be found in the office all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and in the morning on Fridays.

Dr. Wahid’s vision for his practice is to provide all encompassing care for his patients. Ultimately, a patient can be seen in the office and receive all inclusive treatment/testing the same day. This added convenience eliminates the need for multiple office visits and outsourcing to other facilities for testing purposes.

Dr. Wahid treats all patients like family and wants everyone to feel comfortable and secure while in his care. Cardiovascular health and the well-being of his patients is his number one priority. Dr. Wahid works diligently to provide exceptional care without sacrificing patient service.
