Rene’ Parke graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Tucson. The graduate program includes the successful completion of a four year, 3146 hour program in Oriental Medicine and three years internship in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Asian Body Therapies. She also holds certificates from Southwest School of Botanical Medicine, Fairhaven School of Massage Therapy, Auricular Medicine International Research and Training Center, and EEG Institute. She is licensed in the state of Arizona and nationally board certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Twenty years clinical experience has been achieved working as a Massage Therapist, Clinical Herbalist and Acupuncturist. Rene’ specializes in pain management, women’s health, diet and nutrition. She prefers to work closely with medical doctors who specialize in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and functional medicine.
Rene’ was the first acupuncturist in the United States to have a clinic in a rural community health center. In 2005, she was granted temporary hospital privileges to assist in a child birth, and in 2004 was invited to represent the Acupuncture profession at the Maui conference for the Association of Rural Community Health Centers. She has worked at Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as Academic Dean, Clinic Dean, preceptor and teacher of clinic skills.
Currently, Rene’ lives in Green Valley and has a clinic at Mind 2 Motion Pilates Plus.
