Dr. Kaplan is Board Certified in Neurology, Vascular Neurology (Stroke), Headache Medicine and Interventional Pain Management.
His training includes Neurology Residency Program at Albany Medical Center and a two year fellowship at Columbia University where he also earned MPH in Epidemiology and Clinical Research.
As pain is a function of the Central Nervous System, dual expertise in Neurology and Pain Management creates a comprehensive approach to the patient.
He is one of the few pain physicians who utilizes ultrasound for routine patient examination and needle guidance.
