My name is Michele, I am a wife to Jeff and a Mom to Casey, he is 12 and our daughter Kylee is 4. My husband was born with Hemophilia factor VIII deficiency, and we found out our daughter is a carrier. I am post Gastric bypass surgery, I had it in 2002. Unfortunately I chose a surgeon that ended up surrendering his liscense. The surgery he performed on me was a wreck. I suffered for years with the awful things he did to me. A lot of people died from this surgeon, and there are people like me who nearly lost their lives and suffer complications. I have been hospitalized over 60 times as a result. I fell so ill last year and was so misdiagnosed that I nearly died. I found a really great surgeon in Los Angeles named Dr. Carson Liu. He did revision surgery on me at the end of last year and saved me. I still struggle with complications from the initial surgery. I love going to church, riding my dirtbike and most of all love my family. My husband and I try to not let our health hold us back. Finding doctor"s who truely want to take the time to help people get well and get to the root of illness is very important to us, we like proactive physicians.
