My background is in theatre and radio, but I put that career on hold (more or less), about 10 years ago, when my mother became ill. Since then, I have been her full-time caregiver. I have recently been urged to share my outlook on the blessings of the caregiving process. Toward that end, I am writing a book on the subject, as well as giving inspirational speeches to caregiver groups, church groups, healthcare organizations, and the like.
