Hometown: Jupiter, Fl United States
Occupation: Yoga Teacher
Interests: After years of teaching functional and rehabilitative fitness, Jennifer turned to the practice of yoga to help her clients become more flexible. During her training, she found that not only did the practice of Yoga enable her clients to become more physically flexible, but emotionally as well.
Combining the healing benefits of Yoga and her experience with physical rehabilitation and fitness, Jennifer founded Zazen Yoga Therapy, a healing and preventative healthcare option. Yoga therapy tailors the mind/body practices to the health needs of the individual, helping to promote all-round positive health.
Yoga is the balance between effort and surrender, work and rest, yin and yang. With a regular yoga practice- mental, emotional, and physical stress is replaced with love, light and peace. Tired, weak muscles become strong and lean as energy levels increase.
Jennifer has been studying anatomy and physiology for over ten years, and works with the belief that strength, flexibility and balance are the key longevity and to enjoying a happy and healthy life. She teaches private Functional and Rehabilitative Fitness, Yoga, Thai Yoga, Barefoot bodywork, Shiatsu and Reflexology in the Palm Beaches of Florida.
