Art of Life Chiropractic

Art of Life Chiropractic
I never knew the power of an adjustment until my younger brother’s middle ear infection cleared up after two adjustments. He was 2 years old at the time and had battled Otitis Media (middle ear infection) for about a year. My mother took us to the chiropractor in a neighboring town for care. Since that day we have been maintaining our health through regular chiropractic adjustments.

God has a purpose for each individual and a there is a reason why we were born. I chose chiropractic as a career because I believe that my purpose is to provide pure and natural chiropractic care to as many people as possible. As you know my mother took me to visit the chiropractor at a young age. My doctor educated me on how the body really works. Chiropractors don’t heal people; your own body heals itself. Chiropractors remove any interference that is stopping the body from healing itself. I now know what it means to really listen to my body and let it tell me what it needs. By witnessing my chiropractor love his patients through the power of adjustments, it has inspired me to become one. I feel honored and privileged to bear the name Chiropractor.

I started my education at Wichita State University, where I earned my bachelors degree in biology in 2003. In 2006, I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I graduated with honors earning Manga Cum Laude. I chose to attend Palmer College (located in Davenport, IA) because it was the birthplace of chiropractic. Palmer is referred to as the Fountainhead of the chiropractic profession. It trains the world’s finest chiropractors, and graduates more doctors than any other school. While at Palmer, I was involved in several clubs and attended all of the seminars I could. I was president of the Motion Palpation Club for 3 semesters, involved with the Pettibon Club, Pediatric Club, and Nutrition Club. I am also working towards a 180 hour Board Certification in Pediatrics, which I started while in school.

My practice philosophy is simple, “Do what works best for the patient.” I know that everybody is a little different. Two people can respond to two different ways to the same situation. Because of that reason, I think that everyone needs individual attention based on what he/she needs, not what is easiest for the doctor or what is dictated by insurance companies. I take pride in developing an individual care package for each person I see.

I also believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That is why I like to focus on the wellness aspect of your health. If you eat right, reduce stress, exercise, and get regular adjustments, you prevent the multitude of health care problems that exists today. Living a healthy lifestyle is a lot easier than most think. I am committed to educating as many people as possible in changing his/her habits to prevent disease.

I am married to Angie, who is my Chiropractic Technologist and the one who is instrumental to the success of this practice. We were high school sweethearts and married July 4th <url removed> also have two dogs that we rescued. We call them our beagle babies, because we do not have children yet.
Hometown: El Dorado, KS United States
Occupation: Chiropractic Doctor
Interests: My hobbies include camping, playing with our dogs, reading, and having fun with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling to other countrys to provide chiropractic care to poverty-stricken areas. This summer (2006), I journeyed to India with the Palmer College Clinic Abroad Program. We saw over 3,500 people in 5 days! It was incredible.
