Patrick Ward holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Science. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a USA Weightlifting-Certified Club Coach. Patrick is currently awaiting licensure as a massage therapist in the State of Arizona. He specializes in clinical, therapeutic and sports massage and is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) for the Upper Extremity. Patrick’s professional experience working with a diverse clientele ranges from training for general health, to rehabilitation, to athletes who want to take their abilities to the next level. Prior to founding Optimum Sports Performance, Patrick was a top-level fitness and human performance coach in New York City, where he also conducted seminars and clinics for fitness professionals, covering topics such as program design, periodization and assessments. He has served as a strength and conditioning consultant for various athletes of all ages and status.
