I specialize and am certified in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT), which uses precise soft tissue manipulation techniques for dysfunction and pain caused by misalignment of the body by the muscular skeletal system. Misalignment or distortions may be caused by muscle imbalance, which are caused by poor posture, repetitive movement patterns, and/or trauma. Restoring weight bearing equality and symmetry are essential for good health, which is why it is so important to bring people in to neutral balance alignment!

I have taken eight Precision Neuromuscular Therapy seminars (Head & Neck, Upper Extremity, Spine & Thorax, Lower Extremity, Form & Function, Advanced Soft Tissue Therapy for TMJ Pain & Dysfunction, Precision Neural Mobilization, and a distance education course on Whiplash) in an effort to help people become pain-free.

Also, for existing and potential clients who have or have had cancer, I also completed Cancer and Massage Therapy: Essential Contraindications Part I and Cancer and Massage Therapy: Treatments Part II via the AMTA.

Even though certification with specific modalities is not required by the State Medical Board of Ohio, I took the extra steps to become a Certified Precision Neuromuscular Therapist (CPNMT), which gave me the knowledge to better help people with their pain and dysfunction.
