Paul Brogan

Interests: A personal crisis is a critical moment in people's lives. Helping people get through a difficult time or a big life transition is enormously satisfying for me. I have particular interest and experience in dealing with depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, abuse survivors, and personal growth.

It is a joy for me to see people breathe new life into old relationships, and bounce back after various setbacks in their lives. With degrees in theology, psychology, philosophy and holistic development, I love to work with people who are seeking health, wholeness and happiness.

I love teaching at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles. I teach classes on Loss and Grief, Understanding Trauma, Bullying and Truancy, Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Anger Management and Child Development. I also present workshops at local businesses and schools.

As an Irish born counselor, I have a passion for helping get people back on track. The Celtic understanding of Counseling is "Anam Cara" which means "a friend for your soul," and this is what guides me in my work. Please call me, I look forward to hearing from you.
