I am a physician - psychoanalyst fully trained and working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Psychoanalysis and informed psychotherapy are critically helpful in identifying, understanding and working through worries and conflicts that inhibit each of us from fully participating in life, athletics, and performance. Child and adolescent psychoanalysis and psychotherapy can be critical in identifying self limiting behaviors and in mitigating life circumstances that pose threats to a child’s self esteem, well being, and effectiveness. I have long standing professional interests in anxiety, depression, sexual preference and gender issues and believe that understanding and learning about one’s inner life is crucial to making informed and wise decisions throughout diverse experiences.
I believe that understanding, life style and nutrition, and practice are all crucial.
I live and work in Ann Arbor, where I see patients in my office on Liberty Street, teach residents at the University, work with psychoanalysts in training, work out, and enjoy my family and dogs.
