I have worked in the field of sports and recreation since 1984. For this reason my focus is on staying fit by having fun. I have extensive experience in adapting recreation/fitness programs for individuals with special needs. I worked over 20 years for the Portland Park Bureau's Special Recreation Program, designing and implementing recreation and fitness programs for seniors and people with disabilities. I am also a 3rd degree black belt and certified instructor in Yoshokai Aikido. I have over a hundred students in the Portland area. In 2006 I added to my experience by becoming an ACE certified Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Weight Management Consultant. In 2007 I opened my own studio called Everyday Fitness to better serve those clients who want to train in a private, one-on-one setting. I am now also very excited to be an AARP approved trainer and can be contracted through their website at a discounted rate. I am eager to help you create your own fitness lifestyle, one that you can enjoy everyday because it's fun and energizing.
