"Renata Weatherspoon is a seasoned Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health, from the University of Cincinnati, earned in 2013. She focuses on treating anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, psychosis, stress, and trauma/PTSD. Renata began her career in a local emergency department and transitioned to the Psychiatric Emergency Department, gaining extensive experience across diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, residential substance abuse treatment, FQHCs, and private practice. Her therapeutic philosophy emphasizes empowering individuals to harness their own capacity for healing and self-advocacy. In addition to her professional commitments, Renata enjoys spending her free time relaxing and vacationing on the beach with her daughter, finding balance and joy in her personal life.
