Mallori Levengood is a board certified, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who has been providing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and medication management to adult patients with depression and anxiety for the last two years. She enjoys providing mental health treatment to individuals via telehealth platform because it allows her to help reduce the stigma of mental health and makes care easily accessible. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Mallori brings empathy, an easy-going communication style, and sweet sense of humor, make it easy for her to talk and relate to patients. Mallori specializes in assessing and diagnosing patients with mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. She can prescribe medication as a viable option, but she has been very successful with the holistic approach of listening and educating the patient before resorting to medication, and many times it is a combination of all three.
