Self-Enrichment Center

Alina received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Barry University in 1990. Working with children who have special needs for ten years reinforced her belief in the body-mind connection. In the early nineties she began to focus on alternative therapies incorporating them successfully into the classroom setting. With her innovative teaching strategies, Alina became a clinical teacher training students with an education major from F.I.U. and the University of Miami. In 1994 she became a Reiki Master, followed by her Certification as a Massage Therapist, and since then, has incorporated other modalities into her bodywork. After leaving the school system in 1998, Alina was certified as a Louise Hay Instructor, and began facilitating monthly seminars where participants explore and overcome personal deep-rooted fears, guilt, anger, and resentment. That same year she founded the Self Enrichment Center, which offers to its clients holistic options for health and wellness.

After receiving her Certification as a Transformational Breath Facilitator, Alina began to lead workshops to help others release negative emotional patterns from their bodies. She also incorporates Deep Emotional Release Bodywork into her practice. She has taught alternative therapies at the College level (Miami-Dade College). In 2003, she became certified as an Integrative Life Coach from the Debbie Ford School of Coaching. In 2006 she expanded her services as well as those offered by the Self-Enrichment Center.
