I am a nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP) and a doctoral candidate in School Psychology at the University of Washington (UW). My focus is on the equitable provision of culturally responsive mental and behavioral health services for children and families. I am particularly passionate about serving historically under-served populations, youth who have experienced trauma, and youth who have difficulties with emotional and behavioral regulation. I have experience working as assistant director of an intensive summer treatment program through the UW Autism Center; co-facilitating multi-family Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills groups; as well as working as a school psychologist and supporting the behavior program specialist team in Seattle Public Schools. I have also enjoyed mentoring other students, serving as a teaching assistant for courses in teacher resiliency, school psychology assessment, and counseling throughout my time in graduate school.
