84 years old, retired. from UNCG (administration); Actress (my whole life--professional debut at age 55!) worked primarily at the Broach Theatre and the Barn Dinner Theatre, also Touring Theatre of NC. Not much lately--both for lack of appropriate roles, and because I can't remember enough lines to do more than one scene. Last appearance was in the premiere production of a new play written by a friend, at the Crown Theatre last January.

Interests: Reading (primarily escapist--British mysteries: PD James, Dick Francis, Elizabeth George) some American mysteries (Michael Connolly, Marcia Muller, Donald Westlake), ballroom dancing (for the last 9 years--I love it and it's very good exercise--both mental and physical-- for me), gardening, travel (I used to take one big trip every year (cruises, Road Scholar programs, etc)--haven't done one yet this year)
