Dr. Mark H. Chae, PhD is a mental health counselor, research consultant, educator, and author. He received his M.A. in psychological counseling (1997) and Ed.M. in counseling psychology (1999) from Teachers College, Columbia University. Thereafter, he continued graduate training in the APA-Accredited Counseling Psychology PhD Program at Seton Hall University (1999-2004). He completed his pre-doctoral clinical internship at The Doctoral Psychology Internship Program at the Baruch College Counseling Center, New York. Dr. Chae is a professional Member of both the American Psychological Association and American Counseling Association. He has served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Counseling and Development, Counseling and Values Journal, Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling, and the Journal of Multicultural Counseling and Development. He also has served as an ad hoc reviewer for several professional journals, including the Journal of Black Psychology, Psychology of Menand Masculinity, and Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology.
