Shani Francis, MD

Dr. Shani Francis is a board certified dermatologist who loves data and has personal interests in skin cancer, hair loss, health care disparities and health delivery systems. She is passionate about improving how physicians and patients interact within health
systems, specifically as it relates to improved patient care and physician burnout. She is also very interested in product development, clinical research and advancing treatment for hair loss disorders and teledermatology. Her diverse background and experiences include: Biochemical engineering, Six Sigma quality, a business MBA, NASA research, and numerous public speaking and media engagements (on web, print, radio, and television). She is active in several medical and community organizations and currently holds an appointment on the National Performance Measurement Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology.
