Dr. Mark A. Urbach became interested in Dentistry as a five year old in his Dad’s dental office in Tyler, Texas. Now he is able to help other children learn the basics of preventing dental problems. He graduated the University of Texas in Austin, and then attended The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. His desire to help children led him to a Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Mark A. Urbach is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as a Staff Member at Texas Children’s Hospital. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Your children’s dental needs sometimes might require sedation dentistry. Dr. Urbach is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and holds a parenteral sedation permit from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.

Recognized as one of Marvin Zindler’s Angels, as well as serving on the Associate Board of Directors of the Children’s Museum of Houston, Dr. Mark has always supported children’s efforts in the Houston area. As well as being an avid member of the Mickey Mouse Club, Dr. “Mickey” Mark enjoys entertaining children of all ages with his hobbies of magic and balloon animals. With the “Happy Tooth Train”, video games, and Disney movies, Dr. Urbach has created an environment that children are always asking, “When do we go to see Dr. Mark again?”

Dr. Mark A. Urbach is always available for your family, however he truly cherishes his own, including his lovely wife, Rosetta, and two sons: Dr. Alan D.D.S, who just graduated dental school and is in a pediatric dental residency, and Greg, who just graduated St. Thomas University, and is pursuing a career in accounting and business law.
