My approach is empathic and supportive to help each client work through their difficulties. I have experience doing psychotherapy with adolescents and women who have a variety of concerns and specialize in working with Eating Disorders, Postpartum Stress and Anxiety. I tailor the therapy to best meet the needs of each client by using aspects of Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral and Relational Theory. I also serve as the President of the South Florida Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP).
After receiving my Master's from Smith, I completed a one-year intensive training program in Cognitive Therapy at The University of Pennsylvania as well as a postgraduate training program at The Postpartum Stress Center. I have worked in many therapy settings including The Renfrew Center, Laurel Hill Inn Residential Eating Disorder Program, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital and The Women's Therapy Center. I am currently in private practice in Boca Raton, Florida.
