I always knew I was meant to help people in need, but I wasn’t sure where that help lied. My journey to becoming a Chiropractor started with a car accident, in which I lost the use of my right arm. After being sent to an MD and offered only medication for relief, frustrated I went to see our Family Chiropractor. He sat me down and explained in detail how the trauma caused inflammation to my muscles. He also explained the relationship between my nerves and muscles and how over time, with Chiropractic care, I would regain full use of my arm. Shortly after, I chose Chiropractic as a career. I attended Cleveland Chiropractic College and received my B.S. in Human Biology and Doctorate in Chiropractic. I learned that Chiropractic is so much more than just getting someone out of pain. It’s about helping the body function at optimum levels by helping remove interferences in the nervous system and allows it to heal itself naturally. It improves motor function, immune system health, brain function and overall body health. Through my education, experience and understanding of the nervous system, I wanted to help from the beginning of life. To achieve this, my focus has been to help heal the body from Prenatal, Pregnancy/Perinatal, Pediatrics and Beyond. I’m receiving additional Pregnancy/Pediatric certification (CACCP), one of the highest levels of certification specializing in pregnancy and pediatric Chiropractic Care through ICPA (icpa4kids.org). I have much information to share and look forward to helping you and your families stay healthy and sharing my knowledge with you.

Interests: At Nurture Family Chiropractic, Dr. Heather Valinsky has received extensive Special Training to provide Chiropractic Care to Pregnant Women through all Trimesters to address the pains associated with being pregnant(Psoas muscle, Round ligament, Pubic Symphysis Disorder, Sciatic Pain and many more). Her education and training in Prenatal and Perinatal Chiropractic Care also allows her to provide natural pain relief to mothers in relieving their Pelvic Pain, Thoracic Pain & Ligament Strain, which relieves tension on the mothers uterus helping with Breech Babies in turning themselves, if needed.
