I am Dr. Erica Goodstone, Licensed and Nationally Certified Mental Health Counselor, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Massage and Bodywork Therapist. I am a Diplomate/Fellow for the American Association of Integrative Medicine, a Diplomate for the American Academy of Pain Management, a Diplomate for the American Board of Sexology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Sexologists, a Founding Steering Committee Member of the U.S. Association for Body Psychotherapy, a Certified Sex Therapist for the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, a Certified Rubenfeld Synergist, a Registered Polarity Practitioner, a Shiatsu Practitioner for the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia, and a former Professor of Health and Physical Education.
I have maintained a successful private practice focusing on relationship and sexual issues as well as the connection between mind, body and spirit for all types of emotional, physical and relational ailments.
For over two decades, I have presented lectures, workshops and seminars at some of the leading professional counseling ,bodywork, consciousness, health and wellness, organizations and public health and wellness expositions in the country.
My work has been published in numerous professional and national magazines and journals as well as chapters in several books. I have appeared on local, cable TV, and nationally syndicated TV, radio and recently webcasts.
My life's work is about healing: healing the relationship you have with your own body and with everyone else in your life. My goal is to create a shift in the way we view love, marriage, relationships and commitment so that many more of us can find joy, happiness and ongoing pleasure in their daily lives with their very real (and over time, aging) partners.

Interests: Having been a Professor of Health and Physical Education, I was always first and foremost an avid athlete. When I was younger, I played volleyball, handball, paddle ball, softball, basketball and other teams sports. I also loved ice skating, downhill skiing, and sleigh riding in the winters and roller skating, swimming, bike riding in the summers. I studied ballet, tap dancing, folk dancing, jazz dancing, ballroom dancing, and different styles of ethinic dancing.
More recently, my focus has been on the sports activity I love the most -tennis. I have trained with some of the best international coaches, competed against international players within my age range, and I am currently the captain of my local leauge tennis team.
