Virgil Vacarean

Born in Radauti a small town in northeastern Romania. From a very young age he was interested in dentistry field and started training as a dental technician at age 14. After finishing dental technician school he became a certified dental technician and worked in a dental lab for 2 years, preparing for Dental School. In 1991 he was accepted to Apolonia Dental School and attended there for a year while teaching the Laboratory Technician program.
In the summer of 1992 he had an opportunity to come to USA and after completing the immigration procedures was accepted to University of Portland where he studied Biology until 1996, and was accepted at Oregon Healthcare Science University Dental School program. After earning a DMD degree he continued his education by attending 3 more years at Georgia Healthcare University Dental School Prosthodontic Program in Augusta, GA
During the residency program he joined US Army Reserves right after 9/11 on 9/17/2001, where he was proud to serve as a captain for 8 years. It was a way of giving back to the country (USA) that gave him all these amazing opportunities.
After graduating from the Prosthodontic Program Dr. Vacarean opened a private practice in Bluffton, SC where he practiced and also attended numerous courses in dental surgery. He is been placing and restoring implants for 12 years.
In 2011 he moved to Dallas and opened along with Dr. Alexander Oval Dental in 2013.
