My name is Tina Latraverse Haesche, and I’ve been a Connecticut Licensed Massage Therapist since 1998. I have a BS degree from UCONN (1991) and I’m a 1998 graduate of the 20 month New York Program from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT). I worked at CCMT from 1998 - 2003 in graduate services where I served as a liason between the graduates, the business community and the CT Department of Health. I have been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since 1998.
My work is a blend of Acupressure (finger pressure along meridians) and deep tissue techniques such as myofascial release, range of motion, cross tissue and sustained compressions. I strive to maximize therapeutic results while assuring a comfortable and relaxing experience. I feel that acknowledging the power of intention and energy is extremely valuable in bodywork. Integrating energy work into a massage session sometimes is the difference between a generic, feel good massage and an experience that changes how you think and live in your body. I love bodywork and learn something new everyday from my clients.
