Healing Wings is based on the premise of a story that we walk with people through their pain and we in no way take away their right to have that pain. Below, is that story about God’s butterfly. It is a powerful story of how we allow the process of wounds to heal through God, Counseling, and the client to walk through their pain and to learn cope with their pain to see how they may help become healers themselves. For through God’s love, God will provide strength, mercy and most of all His Grace in all circumstances.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Interests: My name is DeeDee and I am privilege to choose to be a counselor. I feel it is an honor be allowed to walk beside others in their pain and wounds. I know now that my pain and wounds were God used for His will. Yes, I have made bad choices and yes, I am now better off for them and always will be. I would not trade my pain or heartache for a million happy memories.
I realize that through my pain – I now can help others walk through theirs. I thank God that not only can I do that in many ways such as writing, speaking, but through my training and experience. Most of all, I appreciate the times God allows me to share those times so together, we may see the gut-rutching tears that seem to not stop but like a rainbow of Graceful healing- WE arise from the storms.
*I am a Licensed Supervising Professional Clinical Counselor through the State of Ohio Social Worker, Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. I am also a National Certified Counselor through the Board of National Board of Certified Counselors. I am also a Pastoral counselor and one that is legally licensed in the State of Ohio because my Masters is in Clinical Pastoral Counseling.
*I specialized in counseling adolescents and young adults in Asperger’s, Sensory issues, and all types of ADHD including my types of other special abilities. I found out that these very special people have taught me more about life than a thousand books can explain. I am so privilege to know the many precious souls that have changed my life. You all have a special place in my heart.
*I am also trained in serving our Armed forces and Veterans which I am humbled to be a small part of their healing. You know you are a real hero when your blood type is written in your boots.
*I am also certified and trained in various Cognitive Behavioral therapy including Motivational therapy, Prolonged Exposure therapy, Mindfulness therapy, to name some and use many techniques that subscribe to these therapies. That is just for those who need to know they boring stuff! ;) The rest of my training came from walking with precious and hurting people that I have been blessed to be ask to come into their lives to serve. I know through God’s grace and plan — it is only by His will that HE allows me to be his instrument during those painful times. It is only through my past pain that I can help others walk through theirs and be Close to the broken. For Psalms 34 states “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those that are crushed in spirit.”
*I am also training and experience in Small Business counseling which I do at times specialize in family businesses. It is amazing how important it is to repair relationships in the work place. It sometimes becomes the focus instead of of the business at hand.
