Educated at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Welker finished his residency in Family Medicine with the U. S. Army in 1983. Dr. Welker has had over 30 years of experience regarding family medical concerns, as well as Emergency Room procedures to take care of those major medical problems of life that cannot be cared for in the office. He sees patients from infancy to the geriatric population, to bring the care of the family under one medical umbrella.
